Twelve portraits and their stories create the possibility of healing.

Another Light—the culmination of a seven-year spirit journey. Another Light—exploring the “liminal space” between the artist and eleven other participants. On this site you can see the portraits and listen to the stories. You can see how the paintings provided a space for community and healing through April of 2025. That story signals what Another Light offers for any place or community that hosts their presence.

The paintings provide a setting for gazing, reflection, meditation, celebration, conversation and dance. They are large and intimate. Arrangement in a sacred circle amplifies their relationship, mystery, and healing energy. Through descriptions and QR codes, portrait subjects speak about their portrait and their journey. Throughout the month, participant-led events expanded the circle and invited visitors to reflect on their own journeys.
